Course objective
Giving the theoretical and experimental basis of organic chemistry for non-chemistry students .
Course Description :
Study
the chemical bonding in organic compounds through the hybridization
theory, classifications of organic compounds according to functional
groups, nomenclature of organic compounds, isomerism, chemical
reactions, heterocyclic organic compounds, carbohydrates, amino acids
and proteins, terpentines, application of organic compounds in
medicine, agriculture and food industries .
